The Bendigo Youth Orchestra and Golden Strings provides for young musicians up to the age of 26 to rehearse and perform together in order to develop their musical skills and performance standard. The orchestras perform regularly for the general public of Bendigo and surrounding areas under the leadership of the musical directors, Rohan Phillips (Youth Orchestra) and Ellis Ormerod (Golden Strings). The orchestras are available for bookings to perform at community events, conferences, private functions and concerts for the elderly. The Bendigo Youth Orchestra and Golden Strings provides an opportunity for the community to hear orchestral music performed by our talented youth.
