Bendigo’s original and best community performing venue, Open Stage, a performing arts support concert held at 8.00 pm on the first Friday of selected months at the Old Fire Station, View St Bendigo. Admission is $3.00 for adults, with children under 15 free. Great value for families and that includes light refreshments! There’s lots of great family entertainment. Bendigo’s Open Stage Inc. – Statement of Purposes:
To conduct performing arts activities in Bendigo on a non-profit basis for the purpose of providing a regular opportunity for aspiring performers in the community to meet, associate, perform and by so doing develop their performing skills, confidence and experience.
To promote community participation in the performing arts in the Bendigo area, with an emphasis on assisting those who would otherwise have limited opportunity to perform.
To encourage performers of all standards, disciplines and ages, together with those who support community performance, to associate with, support and encourage each other.
